The workflow

Start. Ready.
Done.

Every ticket moves through the same simple steps, so anyone on the line can see where an order stands at a glance.

It lands.

The order arrives from the counter, the kiosk, or online, with every item and choice already attached. A sound lets the line know.

“No onion” belongs
on the ticket.

Beyond the active board

Know what’s next.
Know who’s here.

Scheduled and curbside orders get views of their own. The active board stays focused on what’s cooking right now.

SCHEDULED VIEW

Later orders stay out of the rush.

Orders scheduled for later in the day get their own view, with the due time on every ticket, so they never crowd the active board.

CURBSIDE VIEW

They pulled up. The kitchen knows.

Guests check in from their phone. The ticket shows their vehicle and an arrival indicator, with a chime if sound is on.

Make it yours

Your kitchen.
Your view.

Name each screen, pair it to a location with a code, and choose which menu categories it shows. Watch one screen change below.

STAR PRINTERS

On the screen, and on the bag.

Connect a supported Star printer and print an order receipt or one label per item. Turn on auto-print so every incoming order prints the moment it lands.

  • Auto-print incoming orders, as receipts or labels
  • Paper widths from 2 to 4 inches
  • Printer connection status right on the KDS

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Straight answers about setup, pricing, and how the pieces fit together.

Ask us anything
Which orders show up on the KDS?

Orders from Order ’n Go POS, self-order kiosks, and online ordering for the location the screen is paired to. Category filters can narrow what each screen shows.

How does a ticket move through the kitchen?

Start a queued order to move it to In progress, mark it Ready when it’s done, and Complete it after the handoff. Active, Scheduled, Curbside, and Completed each have their own view.

Can different stations see different items?

Yes. Choose menu categories for each screen. A matching order appears with its full ticket, so the station keeps the context. Order status is shared across screens, not tracked separately per station.

What happens when a server adds to an open check?

When the register re-fires the check with more food, the KDS treats it as a new firing: it sounds again and, if auto-print is on, prints again, so the extra round isn’t missed.

How does curbside work?

Guests check in when they arrive. The ticket shows their vehicle details and an arrival indicator, with an arrival sound when sound is enabled.

Which printers are supported?

Supported Star printers, for order receipts or one label per item. Paper widths range from 2 to 4 inches, and auto-print can print every incoming order.

Is the KDS included in my plan?

Kitchen display software is included with the Kiosk + online plan and the kiosk volume program. See pricing, or book a demo to talk through screens and printers.
