Straight answers about setup, pricing, and how the pieces fit together.
Ask us anythingWhat kinds of promotions can I run?
Percent off with an optional cap, dollars off, a free item, free delivery, or BOGO (buy X, get Y at a percent off). Apply it to the whole order, specific items or categories, or the delivery fee. Templates for happy hour, first-order offers, BOGO, and free delivery get you started.
Do guests need a promo code?
Only if you want one. A promotion can apply automatically when the cart qualifies, or only with a code. Online, guests also see an offers list and a “spend $X more” nudge when they’re close to a deal.
How do I stop a promotion from costing too much?
Cap total uses, uses per customer, per customer per day, and per order, or set a total budget. When a limit is reached, the campaign shows as Exhausted and stops applying. You can also pause it any time.
Can promotions and rewards be combined?
You decide. Each promotion sets whether it stacks with rewards or other promotions, and the rewards program has its own setting for combining with promotions. Guests can redeem one reward per order.
How do guests earn and redeem points?
Points are recorded on paid orders linked to a guest. Online, guests sign in. At the kiosk, they enter a phone number to earn and verify with a texted code to redeem. At the counter, staff attach the guest to the check and apply an eligible reward.
Can a free-item reward include extras?
Yes. Cover the base item only, include required choices, include all extras, or set an allowance for choices and extras.
Do points expire?
Only if you want them to. Points expiry is an optional program setting, along with the earning rate, rounding, fractional points, and whether guests earn before or after discounts.
Are points shared with other restaurants?
No. Your program and your guests’ balances belong to your restaurant. They’re never pooled with other restaurants on Order ’n Go.
